Meredith Carpenter is a trained molecular biologist with over 12 years of experience in the field of genomics, start-ups, and the biotechnology industry. Dr. Carpenter has a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley and completed her postdoctoral work in the Department of Genetics at Stanford. She has been involved in the formation of several genomics start-ups, has founded and staffed an R&D lab, and has won over $5 M in SBIR grant funding. She is also experienced in business development, market research/intelligence, and diagnostics product development.
In her role as consultant, Dr. Carpenter leverages her deep technical expertise in genomics and assay development to provide strategic guidance and insights to her clients. Having been involved in multiple startups, she can also provide guidance on recruiting, operations, and laboratory set-up. Finally, having both written successful SBIRs and served on multiple SBIR scientific review groups at NIH, she can provide technical and strategic input for grant and scientific writing.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, baking, horseback riding, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Teddy is an entrepreneur and accomplished writer with companies ranging from writing to web design. He has over 3 years' experience in business and technology. In 2019, he started his first company specializing in custom toy racecars. Then in 2021, he started Connor and Hardy, a literary agency. In 2022, he started Hamilton Web Design designing websites, but he had started making websites much earlier. He has managed all company technology and HR for his ventures. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, writing, traveling, and CrossFit.
